THE REAL ESTATE OF THE TEXT
WEBSITE OF MEETING THE TEXT HALFWAY

Description
This website is a companion surface to the practice-based research project Meeting the Text Halfway. It gathers artworks, documentation, moving-image material, and supplementary reflections connected to the submitted exegesis and exhibition.

The project explores text as an embodied and material condition: something written, read, projected, handled, inherited, translated, and performed. Across wax, print, scripture, projection, and installation, the works ask how bodies become textual and how texts acquire body.

Readers arriving here through QR codes in the exegesis are entering another layer of the document. These pages extend the printed text, offering additional encounters with the works and ideas that cannot be fully held on the page.

Research Relation
The website operates as one of the project’s key between-surfaces. It sits between the printed exegesis and the exhibition, allowing the research to move across page, screen, image, sound, documentation, and return. It does not function as an appendix to the thesis, but as a supplementary textual field through which the reader meets the work halfway.
